Lens Advise

Hey!

I am going on a trip to Bangkok soon and was thinking about picking up a lens or a few

I currently have a Canon 1000D with a Kit 18-55 IS and a Cheap ($100aud) Tamron 55-200. I have no real favorite things to photograph. Just general stuff I guess, ie. my dog, general outings, holidays ect. I do love macros also.

Any suggestions on good lenses that wont cost me an arm and a leg? Also, any suggestions on good shops in bangkok for camera equipment?
