24mm TS Canon or 24mm PC E Nikon, which to buy

I have Nikon and Canon both systems in full frame. I want to buy a 24mm tilt shift lens for architecture photography, and landscapes also.. I could not find direct comparison of these two lenses. Some say optical quality of Canon is not at par because it is a old design lens while Nikon is new design. Others say Canon has better build particularly for new Canon TS-E 24mm F3.5 L II.

DP review test says=(Nikon's PC-E 24mm F3.5D ED comes close, but has the tilt axis fixed with respect to shift). What is that?
I know, Nikon lens can be used on Canon with adapter.
I request you to tell the main differences and give ur advice.
