Ok, so I've figured out the problem. It's Aperture. I seem to remember reading that not all RAW processing programs were created equal. Well I've seen it first hand. I took a photo at ISO 800 in RAW. I brought the image to work and opened it in Photoshop. It looked amazing. I opened the very same NEF file in Aperture and it looked terrible. It kind of looks like maggots. Anyways, I'll post both versions for all to see. They are screen captures of of the images zoomed in at %200. (The problem is even more visible before exporting it to jpeg and loading into the gallery)

Is it routine for Apple to update RAW processors or is what I'm seeing is what I'm going to get? I guess I should have looked into Lightroom before purchasing Craperture.

Thoughts?
