National treasures landscapes 12/9/2010

The subject here is color landscapes. Preferably with minimal hand of man. This would include Icons, your countries National Parks, or any local stuff that is beautiful, grand or special.

This is intended to be a show case for your work, no competition, no winners or losers.

This is a place for us old timers or wannabe old timers who love that old time Kodachrome look and those traditional postcard landscapes.
How it works here:

To post your submission, return to the first message and hit REPLY. This gives each submission it's own thread within this topic (view the topic in Threaded view, to understand).

Give your image a unique title, perhaps include your name so we can find it among the other replies.

We ask that images are embedded (displayed in message), rather than linked, for the convenience of all.

The DPreview Gallery is free and works great as it allows a small display image that can be easily expanded. I suggest 1600 wide max for your original. Links to other galleries are also fine if embedded.

How about a limit of 3 images for now.
