OM lenses on E-520 works great

I'm using zuiko 50mm f1.8 for about a year (around 3000 shots) on my E-520 and it works like a charm..
You do need "OM to 4/3 adaptor" (I got mine for 10$ on ebay).

metering is great! In TTL and any other situation. It messed up only once at a concert (at which many lenses would fail!!).

I also have sigma 35-70mm f2.8-4 OM which I don't use much cause of hard focusing and strong chromatic aberration, but metering seems OK.

..and vivitar 28mm f2 (mine is in minolta's MD mount), but it should be same as OM version.. No problems with metering also..

p.s.I use 50 f1.8 revers coupled on zuiko 40-150mm kit lens to get macro shots like this
