How to mark back of prints
Dec 3, 2010

I want to add a copyright notice to the back of my prints and thought it would be easy. But it isn't.

Got a self-inking stamp made and used it on the back of prints made on luster paper (both Epson Luster, and InkJetArt's MC Luster).

But the stamp's ink just sits on top of the print and never dries. At least not in 2 or 3 hours. It just sits there waiting to be smeared. I tried carefully blotting it with tissues but that didn't help.

Tried printing on the back with my R2400. That has much the same problem. It looks like it might dry sooner than the stamp's ink, but not quick enough to be useful.

The frame shop that is buying the prints doesn't want us to use stick on labels because they cause a bump when the print is dry mounted.

This must have been solved by lots of people already. What works?
