The Nikon metering myth
Dec 2, 2010

Sorry guys, there's quarreling every time about the Nikon meter being either too hot or too cold.

Then I'm counting how many pictures in the sample sections of the D7000 and of the 60D have an exposure compensation set and found out that it's 19% with the D7000 and 60% for the 60D. With the E-5 it's 40% (but the sample size is very small). The reviewers state that the D7000 is worse, strangely the samples don't reflect this. I have not yet gone through my own library.

If you're kind enough have a look through your picture library and calculate a ratio of how many times you have used EC and if you have any compensation set in the fine tune custom function. If someone knows how to e.g. define a filter in LR to quickly get the numbers, or any other software please post it.
