I tried to interest a couple in the A33 at Best Buy

I stopped by to check out the A33 again today while at Best Buy. Of course being black Friday the place was mobbed. The sales people were all busy helping customers looking for P&S cameras. A young couple with a small child were checking out an entry-level Nikon. I asked them if they had seen the new Sony camera. They were unaware Sony even made DSLR cameras and didn't even notice it at the other end of the display. I showed them the A33 and the woman seemed interested but the man kept mentioning that the Nikon special included a camera bag. I could only stay a little while (the wife was waiting for me ;)) but I don't think they gave the Sony a second look.

Sony needs to advertise and run some specials if they want to succeed here in the USA IMO.
