using Hueypro monitor calibration with Imac and MB Air
Nov 26, 2010

I have used the Hueypro to make custom profiles with the Imac 27 for the last year. The calibrated result is warmer than the default settings but within a pleasing range. I have tried profiling the new Macbook Air 13" and the result is very warm or even a purplish-pink hue. To me it looks very wrong. It gets "better" if I select the D75 colour temperature option, but my understanding is that D65 is a normal value. If I'm messing about with fundamentals like that then maybe there is something very wrong.

Has anyone experienced similar issues and if so what have you done to get around it? Is it worth using the Hueypro or better to forget it and use the built in calibration facility on the mac? I have seen the issue mentioned elsewhere but no solution offered.

Help appreciated.
