Looking for critics, want to improve.

I hear this is the place to go for the truth. Bought a D70 years ago and just started shooting. Unfortunately I lost most of my pictures when ye old hard drive decided to stop working. Got myself a d7000 two weeks ago but havent shot anything yet. I did find some old photos and I wanted to see if my composition/lighting/angles could use some work. As I took them, I think they are pretty good, but I like to learn and no book can tell you what others see.

What do you like in these and what could I improve on. Many thanks.
