Finding Enjoyment Again!

I know I will now lose all credibility with my Canon cohorts, but as a very serious hobbyist, I lost much of my enthusiasm shooting what represents a good portion of my time using a camera, namely everyday life and landscapes. I toyed with the idea of getting an M9, couldn't find them, until recently, but when I could find the camera couldn't find my lens of choice, the 50mm Summilux.
Well serendipitously I found both, in silver, just the way I wanted it. I forgot just how much fun the M series line was. I haven't shot with one in over 10 years and have always missed it.
The enthusiasm is back, knowing full well the "compromises" of the M9. The Canon 1DsMKIII with my assortment of short lenses is gone and I am very happy with my decision.
Of course much of my photography is wildlife so I still have my long zooms and my 400mm ready with my 1DMKIV.
I am not here to be critical of the Canon 1DsMKIII and understand why many would never give it up for the reasons I did and do admit it is a fantastic camera with fantastic output and capabilities. I just was looking for more fun.
Nice to be back.
