K5 purchasing dilema
Nov 14, 2010

I have the money to buy the k5 with 18-55 right now, even as we speak. However each time I go the store I have second thoughts and think perhaps its better to keep saving for either a more versatile or faster lense. Should I :

1/ Just get K5 and start taking pics and learn the camera and then save for a faster lense.

2/ Keep saving until the 18-135 is available and see what focal lengths I use most.
3/Keep saving and I mean saving for a fast lense such as the 16-50 or 50-135.

4/ Keep saving for a fast 3rd party lense such as the Sigma 17-50 or Tamron 17-50.

I am mainly into landscape, cityscape, nature photography and have previous experience with my film Sigma SA5N but now I am using a Fujifilm S800 usually in manual mode or aperture to maintain my skills. I am getting impatient and confused and I am becoming an annoyance to the staff at the electrical store. Any advice would be appreciated.
