EF-s 18-135 a good bang for the buck IMO

well, I have to admit that I am less than an amateur in photography, so excuse me for what I see or can't see. I bought this lense with my 550d before I saw this forum, read reviews here and there etc etc. I thought this would be a good focal coverage for daily use. so I went for it. After reading reviews of the lense, I had second thoughts. I planned to get rid of it and buy a 15-85 or a 17-55 2.8 ( or Tamron 17-50 etc). or even a 17-40L and/or 24-105L. Anyways I wanted to take some pictures and see what's wrong with the lense ? speed, vignetting, sharpness, CA wise (if I could see? ) ... I took some 18MP pictures too. Here are some pictures and since I am less than an amateur I am really happy with them. I think I'll keep this lense as long as it serves. So I think this is a very good choice for tight budgets along a 550D.

regards
