Anyone recording long-form video with their Canon DSLR?

I'm recording footage this weekend - three DSLRs will be used - 5d/7d/1d mark iv
They'll be recording for about 8mins at a time over a three hour period at HD res. Is there anything to be wary of? I know overheating can happen - but is any one of these particularly prone to it?
Any other tips? thanks! They'll all be on tripods recording to high speed 32GB cards.
