LX5 NR settings

I received my LX5 last week from Amazon(UK purchase) But they haven't yet sent the card I ordered with it, (yes, it's driving me nuts!).

Meanwhile I've been dropping into the forum to glean further info from you guys.

I have seen some comments on 'controlling' in-camera NR where the poster claims an impressive gain in IQ. What are your thoughts on this and what settings would I need to change to? I intend to only shoot RAW and I only have PS CS2 so I guess I will have to use the supp;ied software (silkypix).
