The Lumix 45-200 can be ok. (6 photos)

I use the Lumix 45-200 on an E-P1 and find it my most frustrating lens. Too slow, hard to hold steady despite the anti-shake, not always accurate to focus at the long end, bad chromatic aberrations in some situations ... the list goes on.

Yet, it's a tiny lens with a huge range and so is with me far more often than my 50-200. And when it shines, it produces the goods. The other day, I was looking at some photos I took during a trip to Nelson, New Zealand, a few months ago and realised many of the photos I liked came from that lens, so I thought I would share a few, just because I can!

(As a "footnote", maybe I should add that I would like this lens a lot more if it stopped at 150mm. It's pretty stellar up to there.)

Don.

A Land Rover, a camera ... I'm happy!
