A700 Replacement Again

Not withstanding all of the previous posting and the various Sony communications and about 2 years I believe that there is in fact NO A700 replacement.

No commercial producer leaves a market segment void for 2 years, I think now is the time to conclude that there will be no A700 replacement or at best we might see a slightly tweaked A580 and rebranded as a A7xx.

If Sony were serious about this market segment they would have at least kept the A700 in production or released an A700x to keep the customer engaged...

I think we should assume Sony has their focus somewhat lower.
