Very tiny specs are numerous and not visible in pictures but the ones I am worried about are visible in pictures at only 25% view. At 100% there are a lot more small ones but I would like to get rid of all the big ones for sure.

I thought my 7D sensor was clean until I got an MP-E65. That lens does an even better job on sensor dust than it does on bugs. The particles are so small and numerous (and invisible for most other uses) that I think cleaning is prpobably a waste of time and a bit of dust-delete/cloning is more appropriate. The very close focus and smallest effective aperture of f96 don't do sensors any favours.
