ive always used lowepro rucksacks

for hiking i regularly use the Rover AW II. upper compartment can hold food, stove, waterproofs, fleece, water.. lenes in the bottom thrid, and camera on the front in a toploader clipped onto the rucksack shoulder straps.. tripod in the dedicated tripod holder.. various external pockets back and sides.. and a waterproofed pullover cover for the whole sack in the base.

lowepro in my opinion just cannot be beaten. their harness system is second to none and is used by mountaineerers the world over due to their load carrying comfort.
