Epson r1800 printer woes....

I have never been as frustrated with anything as I am with this printer. It's about 2 years old and at first I did get decent prints with it, wrote my printer settings on the back of a print and then didn't print much at home for a while. I have the need recently and can not get anything near a good print. Too dark and colors are way off.

I am printing from an imac 24" calibrated with an i1display2 puck and software. I have tried every combination known to man in my print settings dialogue with terrible results.

I am at the end of my rope, if you have this setup and can share your settings or
thoughts it would be much appreciated.

Is this Epson's worst printer????
