One more thing while we are still at it

The effect of diffraction on the printed pictures can be estimated based on the equivalent F-stop, not the nominal value.

For a certain print size, assuming sufficient pixel resolution and lens resolution, FF may become diffraction-limited at, say, F/16 while 4/3 at F/8.
