Does anyone photograph at a "normal" ISO range anymore?

All I see in the forums (not just this one) are people comparing 3200 or 6400 and higher iso levels.

These levels would be un-heard of years ago. A sports photographer would stuggle to shoot at iso/asa 800 or higher (film)

I think we(myself included) are way too wrapped up in the whole "noiseless" high iso settings, that we completely forget about photography!

How about composition, beautiful lighting or just capturing that special moment!

Can we start photographing in the daylight hours again and not in near darkness.

And stop judging everything zoomed in to 100% on your computer. Print out the occasional image, I think you will be amazed at the quality.
