Opal Creek hike back to Jaw Bone Flats...

What an amazing place. This is my first time back to the area I am considering doing a workshop in. It's a nice 3 mile hike back to the facility. The old growth forest is amazing, the creek is awesome. One of my favorite places in Oregon.

First falls on the trail from the parking lot.

Just creekside. I could build a house here and just listen to the water mozey by.

Somtimes the hillside can get kinda steep:

Suprise, there is even some old equipment left in the woods by the mining efforts in the past:

And of course....the waterfalls:
