TL 500 Firmware

Hi: I just ordered a TL500 -the hinged display swung it for me - and while waiting for it to arrive I've browsed the Forum and the Samsung site. The Samsung US site has two Firmware updates, both for the American version of the TL500. The 5254 focuses on "Improved low chroma effect and System Stabilization." and the 8264 on "System Stabilization." I'm worried, the TL500 seems to need a lot of stabilization! I haven't seen any comments about unstable operation although I could have missed them.
Does anyone know what these firmware upgrades are actually doing/fixing?
