14mm vs 17-40mm

Hello guys

Does anyone have hands on experience from the 17-40 vs 14mm prime?

What are the major differences? Is it worth complementing the 17-40? I do like wide angle...

In my signaturre you can see my equipment, do you think the 14mm will make a good complement?
