Any macro specialists using 60D yet? Comments?

To me, the articulated screen is exceedingly attractive in theory, saving an articulated but aging spine from the worst of the contortions in some macro shooting positions. The one issue that would concern me is durability. I could work around a little extra weight and thickness because a good percentage of the time, a tripod is used.
Comments? I have been experimenting with the Rebel T1 and the EF-S 60 mm f2.8 Canon macro lens, but even using a 28" high copy stand (scientific photography), I can get a back ache after a while if I don't get religious about posture.
