Photoshop CS2 or Elements 9
Oct 5, 2010

I've been using Adobe PS CS2 forever - well, for a long time. I really have no complaints - I've just stuck with it due to the cost of an upgrade. I recently downloaded the full (trial) version of Elements 9 and I've been playing around with it. The license is about $89 U.S. so it's very reasonable.

I'm wondering what I'll miss, if anything, if I use it exclusively. I shoot only in RAW with both my DSLR and my carry-around compact camera. I do very little processing, usually a little levels adjusting and mild sharpening. Many of my photos are sold through a stock agency so quality is important.

I like the interface of Elements 9 but I don't want to be surprised when I need to do something more and find that I can't.

Any thoughts? Thanks.
