My Noctilux f1.0 too is 6bit coded and correctly recognzied by the M9 - as a quick push of the INFO-button shows - so no explanation for that at least.

And yes - of course did I expect some (more) vignetting with the use of the ND-filter, as with all filters you mount, but not that much.
