Is there little love for the W90? Is it worth the upgrade from the W30?

I bought my W30 a few years back for a holiday and love it.. I actually like its understated look, where people stare at me in horror when I get into the water.

But on the flip side, because its not shock proof I still treat it with kid gloves and when its near the sand I am paranoid about it getting damaged.

One of the features I love is video and as time has moved on, my expectations have grown.. Last weekend I dug out the W30 for a White Water Rafting session and took a lot of video, and to be honest, the results were poor.

So I decided to look at the W90, just for its HD video.. The camera looks good on paper, but after doing a bit of searching, I hear bad things.

Assuming I am using it only as an 'extreme' camera and am basing my expectations on the W30, would I be disappointed?
