And if all Fuji wants to do with the X100 is to have a lovechild and get some street-cred with a limited audience, perhaps in the hope that there'll be a trickle-down effect on their entire range of cameras, then that's fine.

Commercially, I think they'd have been comparably better off introducing a camera in this style, but in an ILC format. Who knows, maybe that's coming, too.
