M9 Black paint wearing off, an observation

This is not a complaint just an observation, all black painted cameras have this problem it happened with my black OM film cameras, my M9 has just a little on a couple of corners, I have never treated cameras with kid gloves although some of the cheaper plastic end DSLRs I have owned I have been careful with, when out and about my cameras are never in a case, I usually go out with just my M9 with a 35 plonked on the front, its a constant companion unless I need my Oly E30 with a zoom, after all Leica's are not designed to be handled like a precious object, they are a working tool made for the rough and tumble of a professional life to the full.

My M9 is being used and the odd mark does not bother me, as I read on a professional web site the guy said his balck M9 was showing some brass, he said "now its mine".
