Fight against LED stage lights

Hi all,
part of my income is a stage and concert photography. Theese days I have so much trable with modern LED stage lights which appear more and more on both large and small stages.
The colours produced by theese lights are so strange, unnatural and oversaturated I'm not able to tame it neither on site nor in post-processing my NEFs.
My quess is, that the problem begins in the light - there are RGB high power LEDs, each with very discrete wavelength and so the colour is acceptable for a human, but not for a RGB sensor. But I don't understand theese nanometres at all...
