I would also suggest trial'ing ACDSee Pro 3. It allows you to do editing of the files well beyond just red-eye. Once of the great features is the fast on the fly editing. You can make a change in lighting or saturation and the effect is done instantly, no need to wait for processing of the file. Once you have it to your satisfaction, the changes are saved but it also is non-destructive editing so you can restore you original if you wish. In addition, you get the benefits of organization as the amount of your pics increase.
