OCP ink for Epson 1400?

I currently have the original ink that came with my CIS in it, and I plan to soon replace it with some InkJetFly ink. I figured I would also give OCP ink a shot to see how I like it. My one problem is that I can't seem to find OCP ink for this particular printer. I see people mention here and there using OCP ink for it, but they never give details. The best I can find is OCP saying it is under development. Does that mean people are just using inks made for other printers? If so, which ones work best and should I try that?

One other question. I assume I would have to purge what little ink remains before switching types, right? How do I go about doing that? In case you can't tell, I'm VERY new to the whole CIS thing.
