What am I not seeing?50D vs 7D

I just had a look at the Comparometer in Imaging Resources. I looked at the 50D and 7D images side by side. (1600 iso of the colorful collection of yarns, bottles, etc.) To my eye, the 50D shot looks better. It's cleaner, less noise, less smearing, etc. After hearing all the koodos for the 7D, I am left puzzled. Am I the only one seeing this?
