I have an Epson Stylus PHOTO R220 Inkjet printer.
The physical dimensions of each of the six catridges is 5cm x 5cm x 1cm.

This gives a physical limit of 25milli Litres per cartridge. This volume will be reduced by allowing for internal webs and supports. The last cartridges that I bought stated that they held 18mL. So that would mean that the internal obstructions caused by the webs and supports consumed 7mL of cartridge space. I thought that was a fair figure.
