Canon takes over DPR with barnum advertising

I believe some Canon cameras have the ability to pixel map away hot pixels.

This was mentioned in a forum a while back. It is a multi step thing - like looking up the number of shutter actuations.

Olympus has had this in their cameras for years - as a simple menu item.

I use pixel mapping before any big vacation when the camera will be getting a work-out.
