Sigma release exciting 15 Mp Foveon sensor in SD1.

Finally something exciting in Digital photography has been announced. The Sigma SD1 uses a Foveon sensor that measures the light at three levels so they claim a 46 Mp sensor. Not going to argue that but the 4800 X 3200 images are a big leap forward from their last offering of approximately 2500 X 1600. The camera seems to be well made so is an alternative to the Bayer sensor models.
