Best "portrait-enhancing" - "skin-softening" programs ???

There are a number of "softening" or "portrait-enhancing" programs available.

Some cost, some are shareware ....

I know some are photoshop plug-ins, but would prefer a stand-alone since it will only be used for that one singular purpose, and need it QUICK to use at events, with immediate on-site printing.

(And I am inexperienced with photoshop.)

Which ones work the best, are the most popular, EASIEST - QUICKEST to use, (and lowest cost) ???
