Calibrating an iMac 27" for Printing - best solution?
Sep 18, 2010

Hi,
I was wondering how usable an iMac 27" would be in a colour-managed workflow?
At home I have a MacPro and an Eizo Coloredge, which calibrate quite nicely. But I now have a studio space (at a different location) and don't quite have the funds for all that. Instead I was thinking about putting a 27" iMac there and connecting it to an Epson 3800. I want to get to a place where the colours on the screen closely match what my printer produces.
I know the Mac has a glassy screen which can cause glare - but I can change the brightness, right?
Any thoughts on working this way? How could I make it work?
Thanks,
Rogier
