Will be interesting to see how well or bad contrast detection AF in video mode
does perform. Also in dim light where contrast detection AF maybe struggle
even more.

Does anyone know if it is contrast detection AF in video mode only for
lenses with focus motor? I believe the new Sony A560 and A580 got
also auto focus in video mode, but only with lenses with focus motor.

I wonder how good or bad contrast detection AF in video mode is with
a "4/3 camera" or a Sony NEX camera, I have never used any of these.

Good auto focus in video mode is very usefull sometimes, but also I believe for
landscape scenes manual focus is sometimes best.

Since I am a Sony user I will take a look at the new SLT-A33 and SLT-A55
with translucent mirror and phase-detection AF during movie recording.
But I will wait for maybe a SLT-A77 since I am in no hurry.
A NEX7 or mirrorless from Canon or Nikon will also be interesting. Hope
to hear some news at Photokina.
