Minimal vs Ideal Hardware Specs for Capture NX2?

My 6+ year old HP desktop is on its last legs and I have reluctantly concluded I will have to replace it. Capture NX2 is the most demanding app I will be running on the new one.
I thought I had seen a set of "ideal" hardware specs here or in Jason Odell's ebook, but of course now that I need them, I can't find them. Would anyone who knows about this, including but not limited to any published ideal specs, please weigh in here ASAP? The old desktop is still limping along but it took me 45 minutes and about a dozen attempts to get it to start today, and I will need to get the new one ordered quickly.
On a side note, it looks like I won't have any choice but Windows 7 on the new desktop. What, if any, issues are there between NX2 and Windows 7?
