Topaz ReMask vs. CS5 Intelligent Selection
Sep 14, 2010
|
I'm new to CS5 and to the process of making intricate selections. I've played with Topaz ReMask 2 with mixed results some being easy and amazing and other attempts being long frustrating lost causes. In trying to get a handle on new features in CS5 I've jumped around watching web videos one of which demonstrated the new CS5 intelligent selection using a woman's wispy hair as an example. It sure made it look easy. But, I haven't tried it yet for a similar subject and my little bit of dabbling hasn't helped my confidence. I know it will take time to learn, but I wonder what you extraction gurus think of the new CS5 process and if you can offer tips for us beginners?
I also wonder if Topaz's delay releasing the long promised ReMask improvements has something to do with CS5's new feature?
