LX5 - Amazing Color Macro Images

Tried some flower macro shots early this evening, after the harsh sun went away. The golden late-day light was just perfect, creating intense colors. The images were all hand-held and I used various settings (program, AI & aperture priority).

These LX5 images blew me away. The colors were spot on, using automatic white balance. Yes, the color is intense, but that's exactly how it looked. I was also amazed at the level of detail. Particularly note the sharpness of the little hairs on one of the flower images. I just posted the images in my LX5 pbase gallery:
