X-rite i1display2 - luminance quality indicator

I recently purchased the i1display 2, installed all the software, and have run a few color scans.

The 'luminance quality indicator' (running in the eye-one match software) which allows one to adjust the brightness while the scan is running never pops up for me. I've uninstalled and re-installed eye-one match and can't get it to appear.

Any ideas why? No mention of this on the x-rite support site.
