NEX-5 videos don't look like 60fps

I just took a few videos with both my NEX5 and HX5V. The NEX-5's video look like 1080/30p instead of 1080/60i. The HX5V's panning is much smoother with its true 1080/60i. The effect can actually be seen on the liveview as the video is being recorded.

Either Sony is doing what Panasonic does with its 30p output wrapped in 60i files (at least Panasonic actually states that sensor output is 30p), or Sony's engineers "forgot" to turn on 60i in the firmware when video starts to record. I much prefer the smoothness of 1080/60i over 30p.

Anyone else noticing this?
