depressing loss of images with Raw to Lightroom 2.0....someone help!!

Hi,

I took a series of photos last night of my son drawing in the sand during sunset.
When each picture was shot, they came up on the LCD as beautiful.
When I got home, every shot was pitch black in lightroom!

Why is this and is there another program that will help me read these files to see what I saw on the camera's LCD?

Info.... Oly 520 with 14-54
Raw files transferred from CF card to hard drive THEN opened in LR 2.0

Adjusting each photo's exposure leaves them all purple, red, green pixelated!

Definitely NOT what I saw on the LCD!!

I am so depressed that I lost this series!
