Re: Canon launches EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM

Uhhh, the "old" EF70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM is gone. What was wrong with that lens? Was it just too good of a value? This thing had better be really impressive for Canon to just pushed the black 70-300 out a window and replace it with something that costs 2-3 times as much and weighs a bunch more.
