Self Reflection at MoMa with D300 & 35mm F2
Aug 25, 2010

I was in San Fransisco recently on a work trip and had about an hour to kill after a long day of meetings so I went to MoMa. I only carried the D300 with 35mm F2 on this short trip. I was in one of those self-reflecting moods that day, perhaps the weather added to the feeling. Here are some shots I took in that hour long visit...

It was raining outside and the ghostly shadows of the buildings against the raindrops made for a moody atmosphere:

I went to the sculpture rooftop and this large wall of iron intrigued me:

I stopped at the rooftop cafe and had probably one of the best coffee I have ever tasted:

This statue on the rooftop sculpture garden really mesmerized me:

On the way out, this wall installation caught my attention:

As I was walking out, I saw these interesting intersecting geometric patterns in the architecture:

Then I got out, got a cab, went to the airport and caught my flight back home...
