Does the S95 OPTICAL Zoom AND Focus while recording video?

Can someone please reply with a straightforward answer to these two questions?

Please no guessing or conjecture:

1. Can one use the OPTICAL zoom while recording video on the S95?

2. Can the S95 Auto Focus while recording video?

I been only been able to find 3 threads that try to address these questions seperately and dont seem to offer conclusive answers.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide, hoping I can buy this camera instead of the LX5 for pocketability.
